How often does my child have specials?
Every Falcon has a specials block each day — Art, Music, PE or Library on a rotation. The daily times for each grade are on the home page schedule.
What should my child wear for PE?
Closed-toe athletic shoes and comfortable clothes on PE days. Sandals, boots and slick-soled shoes make it hard to join in safely.
Do we need to send art supplies?
No. Everything is provided in the art room. Please do send a labeled paint shirt or an old oversized tee for messy project days.
When can my child check out library books?
Books are checked out during the class library block and may be kept for one week. A book can be renewed at the next visit.
What if a library book is lost or damaged?
Let us know right away — we will help you sort it out. There are no late fines; we only ask that families replace books that cannot be repaired.
Does my child need an instrument for music?
Not at all. The music room has classroom instruments for everyone. Singing, movement and rhythm games make up most of our time together.
Can my child sit out of PE after being sick?
Yes — send a note and we will give a lighter role for the day. Anything longer than three days needs a doctor's note.
How do I reach the specials team?
Use the feedback form on this site. It comes straight to us and we usually reply within one school day.
